Stephanie Ford the owner of Cleaning Maid EZ takes pride in servicing homeowners that lack the time, patience and sometimes the ability to maintain their living spaces. Ms. Ford attributes her cleaning companies success with allocating good genuine service and a little charisma from the heart when nurturing the needs of others in maintaining a clean environment. Ms. Ford has been diligently working towards expanding her reach in the area in providing such economical services even in a tough economy. She took the time to share some of her feelings about the time she takes to provide her individual attentive services to others:
LDMTH: Tell me about your business. How did you start your business? Where are you from? How long in this area?
MAID EZ: Originally from Lagrange Georgia have been in Atlanta 22 years. I have 20 years experience as a Medical Assistance. I enjoy helping people and providing quality care and service. Due to live changes, I needed extra income and was offered the opportunity to clean houses after they have been remodeled. I enjoyed the work and decided to start my business.
LDMTH: What kind of impact would you like our business to make within your community?
MAID EZ: I am very interested in and would love to give back to the community, by being involved in fund raisers and or events that will benefit the elderly.
LDMTH: What is an inspiration/what inspires you?
MAID EZ: Having my own business and the motivation that no one has to push me. Having a get up and go attitude that allows me to do what I love, helping and serving others.
LDMTH: What do you and or your customers feel/say is the most important part of your business?
MAID EZ: The affordability, honesty, consistency and high level of service they receive is invaluable.
LDMTH: What makes you unique or different from your competitors?
MAID EZ: The genuine concern for the clients needs is identifiable and dependable from the very first visit forward.
LDMTH: What cities/areas do you serve? What areas would you like to expand to into?
MAID EZ: Henry County, South, South West, Camp Creek, Delkab County. Possible going North in near future, Fairburn.
LDMTH: What percentage of your business is referral or repeat? Are any of your first customers still with you today?
MAID EZ: 80% are repeat customers. Still have first customers since starting 4 years ago.
LDMTH: What advise would you give to someone that is considering starting a business?
MAID EZ: Know what you really want. Will the business to be long term short term, etc. Be sure to know what you want to provide and how.
LDMTH: What is one important lesson you have learned while building your business?
MAID EZ: Be very honest and clearly identify/state what you can and cannot do. Meet the personal and professional needs of your client.
